Nu Mu Citywide Scholarship Award Application
The Nu Mu Citywide Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been dedicated to the service of the New Orleans community for 37 years. In an effort to continue that legacy, we have created a scholarship award that would benefit minority graduating seniors with proof of enrollment into a 4 year university. Students will be required to apply for the award and will be notified no later than April 15, 2014. Winners will then be required to attend a scholarship banquet to accept their awards. This will be the only time we will be able to meet the applicants so attendance is nonnegotiable.
The scholarship of $500 may be used for any of the various costs of attending the university. Proof of enrollment must be submitted in order to receive the scholarship. The scholarship awards are not based on financial need, but on the quality of the application, the student’s references, and meeting the identified criteria.
